I was asked to create a project using some of the DCWV open stock paper that can be found at JoAnn's Fabric and Crafts. You can find this project in the signage about the open stock in the store, but I'm not sure how long it will be there. For me it's exciting to go into the store and see my project posted for everyone to see. I don't know the exact name of the paper, but it's still available and I also use coordinating solid card stock for the photo mat, words, and scrolling I did on the flower at the top. I hope you enjoy.

Book Style Gift Card Holder
I created these adorable book style gift card boxes for my Nephews Ethan and Torin. Since they both enjoy reading so much, we always make sure to include a gift cards from Barnes and Noble as part of their Christmas. I thought it was be a cute idea to incorporate the book theme with their gift card. I made them from Chipboard and Christmas themed paper. I hope you enjoy.
Coffee Cup Gift Card Holders
Below are a couple gift card holders that I designed for my Sister and Brother-in-law for Christmas. Since they both like coffee and are avid Starbucks fans, I thought it would be fun to hide their gift cards in coffee cups. I hope you enjoy.
December Calendar - Snow Globe/Snowman Inspired
The Dec calendar project below I designed myself. When I created the design I was thinking of snow globes and snowmen and this is what I came up with. The globe is a round bowl turned upside down and the rest of the project was made from Chipboard and Christmas themed paper. The drawer under the globe hold the Dec. calendar days and they hang on a hook in front of the drawer. The bottom drawer hold a mini album for those keepsake Christmas pictures. I hope you enjoy.

Thanksgiving Door Front and Mini Album
Below is a Thanksgiving project I put together, so I would have somewhere fun to put all of my Thanksgiving pictures through the years. I had a lot of fun creating this door front and adding all the little touches. The main structure is made from Chipboard and covered in Thanksgiving themed paper. I also added floral pics to bring it to life. In the back there is a hinged door where a mini album is located for those keepsake pictures. If you are interested in creating one of your own, you can find the instructional videos and the pattern on Laura Denison Designs webpage here. I hope you enjoy.

52 Reason's Why I Love You
I've been with my husband for many years and I felt it was time I let him know why I love him so much. For Valentine's Day I altered a "book" box I found at Hobby Lobby and a deck of cards. On each card I included 1 reason why I loved him for a total of 52 reasons. Coming up with 52 reason's wasn't as hard as you think, they seemed to just flow out of me once I started making my list. Oops! I almost forgot to mention the card. I hope you enjoy, my husband sure did.

My Daughters 18th Birthday
Welcome to AGK Creations.
Today is my daughters 18th birthday. I can't believe how fast time flies. Since she already had plans to make mini cupcakes for her birthday, I decided to make her a paper cake using the Cake Box from the "Tie the Knot" Cricut cartridge. In each of the cake slices I included a surprise, which she really enjoyed. I found my inspiration for this project after viewing a You Tube video by Julie at Ready Set Stamp, she has amazing ideas.

Baby Shower Mailbox and Card
I was so excited when I came up with this idea for my friend Jackie's baby shower. I wanted to create something that everyone at the party could be part of and Jackie could keep as a keepsake. I had these tin mailboxes laying around and thought it would be a cute idea to create little post cards that everyone could sign and include a message to Jackie and the baby and slide into the mailbox for her to read later. I also designed this cute card to go along with it. I hope you enjoy.
